Election results are posted, and students on campus have many different opinions about them.

"All of student life is going to change next year," said Joseph Dembeck, 24.

The Office of the President was won by Daniel Barnicle. Anthony Haslage is the Vice- President, Kristie Benson won the position of the Executive Secretary, and the Office of Event Coordinator was won by Jessica Reese. The University Partnership position and the Office of the Financial Secretary are still open.

"It's almost completely new people on the senate for next year," said Lisa Hooker, 18, a student on campus. "I hope to see a lot of change."

Evan Gregg, a student senate member for the 2005-2006 year, thinks that the right people got the job.

"I would've liked to be a part of the Student Senate again, but I will stay involved in student life," Gregg said.

The new student senate members will have their induction ball and inaugural dinner on May 5. It will be held at the Spitzer Conference Center starting at 5 p.m.
