The 2006 AMA Nominee Duo was introduced by Mantell and Michelle of WGAR's morning show. The duo hit the stage to thunderous applause from the excited fans that filled Stocker Center to capacity.
They started their 75 minute set in high gear, bringing the full house to their feet with the raucous "Hillbilly Shoes." The remaining set ran the gamut of the acclaimed duo's greatest hits, including "Speed," "Hell, Yeah" and "Something to be Proud Of" as well a few songs off their brand new album "Some People Change." They ended the main set with the former #1 hit "My Town" which had vocalist Eddie Montgomery giving away his trademark wide brim hat to a little girl in the front row.
The duo returned to the stage for an encore of "Gone" in which they brought the little girl and two little boys on stage to sing back-up vocals. They also signed a cowboy in which helped the Sandusky Applebee's raise enough money to grant one child their wish through the Make a Wish Foundation.
