Growing up and learning how to survive in the world is not always about what you learn in a classroom, but what fears you learn to overcome.

Every human being has needs and fears. There is always that one thing that will dictate someone's life. That is, if they let it. Sometimes we stay on the safe side, and do not take risks for fear of the unknown. We justify holding back in our minds, even though we know we wish we could participate.

More kids these days are faced with anxiety. It surrounds their life, causing them to be left out. They are too afraid to do normal, everyday things, for fear something will go wrong.

We must learn to get over these fears, and to not let them dictate our happiness. Life will always surprise us, but we must remember that it is those surprises that make life worth living. There will always be things we cannot control, but it is how we deal with those situations that make us human.
