Looking for an inexpensive bite to eat other than those fast food alternatives? Here are some restaurants in the area that are sure to fulfill your appetite.

Georgio's is a little pizzeria in the shopping center next to Arabica. He offers calzones, wings, sandwiches, and pizza. The feature deal at Georgio's is 2 or more large pizzas for $5 each.

If in the mood for an Asian lunch, The New Chinatown Buffet is next door to Gander Mountain in Cobblestone Square. This buffet carries a variety of Chinese, Japanese, and American cuisine. Specialties rang from crab legs to fresh sushi. The lunch buffet runs until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday for $6.35.

Bellacino's is an Italian restaurant located in the same shopping center as The New Chinatown Buffet. . "Our premier items are grinders, which are excellent subs baked in our oven," said Sasha Emerson, an employee at Bellacino's. Bellacino's 9-inch grinder of the week is the Indians Triple Decker, now on sale for $5.29.

Sugar Creek Restaurant is a local spot at 5196 Detroit Road in Sheffield Village. "Around town we are really known for our generous-sized portions which we serve on a daily basis," said Heather Ongloff, Manager. Featured foods include hot corned beef Reubens and chicken Panini's.

Luchita's, an authentic Mexican restaurant with Wifi, is directly across Abbe Road. Tony Davila, owner, described his restaurant as an "authentic Mexican atmosphere with a touch of contemporary designs." Luchita's has received the Silver Spoon Award winning restaurant that is generous enough to offer a 10 percent discount to LCCC students.

The Mighty Moose BBQ Grill is a little farther away from campus located at 36931 Detroit Road (just east of Rt. 611) in Avon. Mighty Moose is known for its appearance on the FOX 8 News Hot List for its award-winning BBQ baby back ribs. Owner of Mighty Moose and LCCC Alumni Al Stafford said, "Even though we have an open bar, Mighty Moose is still a casual dining restaurant that is family-oriented." Selections include pasta marinara, fajita's, Flat iron steaks, 5 different types of burgers, and BBQ Salmon.
