The Student Senate and the Office of Student Life at Lorain County Community College will sponsor the Sixth Annual Trick or Treat on campus from Oct. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Event planners expect the festivities to draw a large crowd.
In the past the event has entertained around 5,000 children from all over the community according to Megan Reynolds, a member of the Program board at LCCC.
The Sixth Annual Trick or Treat has a wide range of activities for children. These activities include face painting, a costume contest, coloring contest, and a photo booth
The event follows the tradition of fostering community unity. Reynolds said that the main goal of the event is to give children a safe place to trick or treat.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Additional fees may be required for some activities. The Student Life office can be reached at (440)365-5222, ext. 4036.
The Student Life Office and Student Senate are located on the second floor of the College Center at LCCC.
