Career Services offers updated options for LCCC job-seeking students

The Employment and Career Services department at Lorain County Community College recently announced an updated line-up of Job Search Assistance Workshops.
Employment and Career Specialist Cynthia McCabe said, "We've added new resources on the Web site. We've also retooled content for our workshops over the past six months."
One of the new features on the web site is the Optimal Resume tool. "The Optimal Resume is a resume builder used by hundreds of colleges and universities," said McCabe. "The software is flexible enough to tailor to our needs."
Registration is free and the Optimal Resume can be found on the Career Services Web page at http://www.lorainccc.edu/Employment+and+Career+Services.
The Employment and Career Services office, which has been at LCCC for ten years, offers a variety of employment and decision making tools. "We can help with job leads and internships," said McCabe. "We are located on the second floor of the College Center in CC232. We are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and evening hours by appointment."
