With the presidential primaries just months away and campaigning in full swing, Democrats as well as Republicans have a huge decision to make regarding who they want in charge of their country in 2009.

As a Democrat, I have a huge decision to make between eight candidates. From the experienced to the peculiar, there are many types of personalities to choose from. However, out of all of the candidates, my favorite Democrat is just too busy saving the world. Former Vicepresident Al Gore stepped away from politics years.

Recently Gore was recognized for his awareness on global warming with the Nobel Peace Prize. This was a huge triumph for environmentalists as well as Democrats everywhere.

After doing some research, it has come to my attention that Gore is actually ahead of most Democratic candidates in recent online polls, and he isn't even running for president.

So why isn't Gore making a run for the White House in 2008? I guess maybe he believes saving the world for future generations is more important than this silly game we like to call politics. If that's the case, then Al Gore you are ok in my book.
