For students looking to have their portfolios reviewed for transferring to a four-year university or college, the day has come.
On Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center, there will be presentations, materials from other schools and workshops to help students learn how to prepare their portfolios, and see what schools want portfolios.
There will also be tours of the mural project by Art Program Coordinator, Nancy Halbrooks, along with mat cutting demonstrations.
Students are encouraged to come, even if they are not transferring at the end of this year. Participants in the event will receive a free pizza lunch.
For further details or questions, contact Nancy Halbrooks in Stocker Center room 230, by phone at (440) 366-7114, or by e-mail at nhalbroo@lorainccc.edu.
