The rapid popping sound of enemy fire, the breeze of projectiles flying past your face at 250 feet per second, and the startling impact of a successful hit to the face mask is rush that sounds fatal. This isn't a war zone, its paintball, and 33-year-old Lorain County Community College Student Brad Breeding wants people to join him in this fast paced sport.

Breeding is a Mechanical Design major and in spite only playing for four months is already taking an assertive approach to finding more people to share this sport with. When asked about his reasoning for starting this group he relied, "I have been looking for people to play with on a regular basis and hopefully form my own team. No luck yet though. It is really hard to find consistent players."

Breeding says that starting this group has shown some advantages. He explained that before starting this group he usually only went out to play with four people. Breeding says now that number has grown to an average of 18. "It was a blast playing with that many people," Breeding explained,

Putting up flyers on campus has provided limited results. "So far I have only been contacted by four people. two of which have not been able to play with us yet," He said, " I did get hooked up with one person who in turn has us in contact with about 15 people but they are already in teams, so I am still looking for people who want to be on my own team."

A player new to the sport of paintball as well as experienced marksmen will find a worthy challenge in this group. Breeding says that experience levels extend from novice to ex-military.

This team plays woods ball, which means the games, will allow room to spread out and hide as well as a slower pace for play. Locations are local as well. "We play in different fields in Cleveland, south Elyria and West Park in Elyria. We only play scenario woods ball. No fee to play, all you need is your own equipment," Breeding said.

When asked about the end of the season he replied, "The season is never over we hope. As long as you can hold your gun and shoot it we will be playing. Cold weather is a factor with co2 so we will have to wait and see."

If interested in joining Breeding can be contacted by e-mail at paintballlist@yahoo.com.
