The team is becoming more comfortable as on-court chemistry has developed over the first half of the season.
Head Coach Colin Irish said that the team has been playing well and that the girls have been working hard.
The Lady Commodores have been focusing their practices on getting the team involved and creating positive ball movement.
During games Irish said his team likes to play a relaxed style of basketball with an emphasis on hard defense. "When you work hard on defense, the offense will follow," said Irish.
While the team has been playing well, they have faced some adversity in their two losses.
The Lady Commodores struggled against the Dayton Flyers and the Mt. Union Raiders womens teams.
Irish said that the games against four year schools tend to be a bit more difficult. "Those four year schools are very talented and tall. Every time we play a school like that it's a battle," said Irish.
The team has a final home game Monday Feb. 18 at 6:00 p.m.
Irish said he would like the community and kids to know that there is a team they have been building from the ground up. "Youth programs are good," said Irish. "We want to try to bring the community into the action."
